Let the money be x

A's per day wage=x/21

B's per day wage=x/28

(A+B)'s per day wage=(x/21)+(x/28)

                                 = (28x + 21x) / 21 * 28

                                 = x / 12

No. of days  (A+B)'s wage  can be payed with amount x= (x/12) / x = 12
