Let the total sum of money be ₹x.
Ratio=2:3:7
Let the money received bu A,B and C be 2x,3x and 7x respectively.
According to the question,
7x-(2x+3x)=₹1500
7x-5x=1500
2x=1500
A's share =2x=₹1500

Answer:

Rs.1500

Step-by-step explanation:

A sum of money is to be divided among A,B and C in the ratio 2:3:7.

Let the ratio be x

A's share = 2x

B's share = 3x

C's share = 7x

We are given that the total share of A and B together is Rs.1500 less than C

So, 2x+3x+1500=7x

5x+1500=7x

1500=2x

\frac{1500}{2}=x

750=x

So, A's share =2x = 2\times 750 = 1500

Hence A's share in it is Rs.1500
