Ratio means a common factor among each of them is there. Let us suppose the common factor is xx

So, B has 2x2x amount, C has 4x4xand D has 3x3x.

C has 1000 more than D

i.e. 4x=1000+3x4x=1000+3x

4x−3x=10004x−3x=1000

x=1000x=1000

Therefore, B has 2x=20002x=2000

Similarly,

A has 5x=50005x=5000

C has 4x=40004x=4000

D has 3x=3000
