So, Simple Interest =Rs. 42
$S.I.= \frac{P×R×T}{100} \\ \\ 42 = \frac{672 \times 1 \times \: R }{100} \\ \\ R = 42 \times \frac{100}{672} = \frac{25}{4} = 6.25\%$
