As we know
Amount = Principal + Int.
2200= P+ PRT
2200 = P(1+R)...........(1)

Also

2800 = P( 1+4R).........(2)


Now (2)/(1)

2800/2200 = P(1+4R)/P(1+R)

44R-14R=4
R=2/15


Now..
2200=P(1+2/15)...............(1)

Principal Amount = 1941.17
