Answer:

hey mate .....

a= 4491 rs

rate = 11%

time = 27 month

p={ a - p} i×r

p={(4491-p)×100×4}/99

99p=4491×400-400p

499p=1796400

p=3600

I=3600×33/100

I=36×33

=1188

a=3600+1188

=4788

Given :----

  • Rate = 11%
  • Time = 2 years and 3 months
  • Amount = Rs.4491
  • Principal = ?

Formula used :-----

  • Simple interest = Principal*Rate*Time/100
  • Amount = Principal + simple interest
  • One year = 12 months

First we find time in years = 2 years + 3 months = 2+(3/12) = 2+(1/4) = 9/4 years .

Now let Principal is = Rs.100

so, interest we get,

SI = 100*11*9/2*100 = 49.5 Rs.

Amount = 100+49.5 = 149.5 Rs.

Given amount = 4491 .

so, Given amount is = 4491/149.5 = 30.04 times of our amount ..

Hence, our principal also is same times ..

Required Principal = 100×30.04 = Rs.3004 (Ans)

(Hope it helps you)
