Given :

Part of money divided to X : \sf \dfrac{1}{20} of whole.

Money divided to X : ₹25000

To find :

The total money and the money divided to Y.

Solution :

First, we should find the total money.

Total sum of money :

Let the total sum of money be m.

According to the question,

\sf \dashrightarrow \dfrac{1}{20} \: of \: m = 25000

\sf \dashrightarrow \dfrac{1}{20} \times m = 25000

\sf \dashrightarrow m = 25000 \div \dfrac{1}{20}

\sf \dashrightarrow m = 25000 \times \dfrac{20}{1}

\sf \dashrightarrow m = 25000 \times 20

\sf \dashrightarrow m = 500000

Now, let's find the total money divided to Y.

Money divided to Y :

\sf \dashrightarrow 500000 - 25000

\sf \dashrightarrow Rs.475000

Hence, the total money and money given to Y are 500000 and 475000 rupees respectively.
