Let the sum of money be divided in the ratio 2x and 3x
In the reqd. question it is said 3x-2x=75
So, x=75
So total sum of money is equal to 2x+3x=5x
i.e 5x=5×75=375
Hope this helps......☺

1) original ratio of money is 2:3

2) let the shares of A and B be 2x and 3x.

Total money would be 5x

3) Modified ratio of money is 3:2

4) The shares of A and B would be 3y and 2y.

Total money would be 5y

5) According to equation 3y-2x = 75.

6) The total amount of money in both the cases would remain same, therefore

5x = 5y i.e x=y

7) Putting this in equation 1

3x - 2x =75.

x = 75

8) The total amount of money is 5x = 5*75  =  375
