A sum of Rs. 10000 is distributed among 3 people A, B, C such that amount received by A is 3 time the amount received by B whose share is Rs. 2000 more than C. Find the amount received by A, B and C.

Let suppose that the share of C = Rs x

So, share of B = Rs x + 2000

and

Share of A = Rs 3x + 6000

According to given problem,

Share of A + Share of B + Share of C = 10000

$\rm :\longmapsto\:3x + 6000 + x + 2000 + x = 10000$

$\rm :\longmapsto\:5x + 8000 = 10000$

$\rm :\longmapsto\:5x= 10000 - 8000$

$\rm :\longmapsto\:5x=2000$

$\rm :\longmapsto\:x = 400$

So,

Share of C = Rs 400

Share of B = Rs 2400

Share of A = Rs 7200
