The share of B would be Rs. 80

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Ratio of A and C = 2:3

Ratio of B and D = 5:6

Total sum = Rs. 1016

So, it becomes,

2x+3x+5y+6y=1016\\\\5x+11y=1016----------------------(1)

B got Rs. 256 less than A,

Then it would be

2x-5y=256-----------------------(2)

From Eq(1) and (2), we get that

x = 168

and

y = 16

Hence, the share of B would be

5y=5\times 16=80
