A sum of Rs.27000 is to be given in the form of 63 prizes. if the prize is of eighter Rs.100 or Rs.25 . find the no. of prizes of each type

Answer:

Let prizes of 100 be x and 25 be y

x+y=63.(i)

100x+25y=2700.(ii)

Solving (i) and (ii), we get

x=15, y=48
