Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

  • let the value got by b is x rupees
  • value got by a is 2/3 of x = 2x/3
  • value got by c is 1/3 of( x+ 2x/3)  = 5x/9
  • total sum of money = 3000 rupees
  • according to the question,

x+2x/3+5x/9= 3000

⇒  ( 9x+ 6x+5x)/9= 3000   (taking 9 as the lcm of 3 and 9)

⇒ 20x/9=3000

⇒x=3000*9/20         ( using laws of transposition of linear equation)

⇒ x= 1350 (value got by b)

⇒2x/3 = 2*1350/3 = 900 ( value got by a)

⇒ 1/3 * 5x/9 = 1/3 * 1350+900= 1/3*2250 = 750 ( value got by c)

hence a got 900 rupees , b got 1350 rupees and c got 750 rupees.
