A Sum of Rs 3000 is to be given in the form of 63prizes.If the prizemoney is either Rs100 or Rs25.Find the number of prizes of each type

sum of cash prize = Rs 3000
no: of cash price money of Rs  25 = x
no: of cash price money of Rs 100 = y
given total no: of prizes = 63
∴25 x + 100 y = 3000
We can find the answer to this question by trial and error method.i.e by putting various values for x and y and trying to find the answers.
As a linear equation in 2 variables have infinite no: of solutions, I would like to share some of them -
1.If x = 60
and  y = 15
then 25 ∗  60 +100 ∗ 15 =  3000
Then  no: of prizes of Rs 100 = 15 and Rs 25 = 60

2.If x =  44
and  y = 19

then 25 * 44 + 100 * 19 = 3000

Then  no: of prizes of Rs 100 = 19 and Rs 25 = 44
