Amount=600
Time= 2y
Simple Interest= A-P
= 600-500
=Rs.100
Simple interest=(P×T×R)/100
SI×100=P×T×R
(SI×100)/(T×P)=RATE
(100×100)/(2×500)=RATE
Rate=100/10 ==>Rate=10%
Now, in 2nd case,
Principle=Rs.800
Amount=Rs.1200
SI=A-P ==》1200-800=Rs.400
Time=x
Rate =10%
SI=(P×T×R)/100
After transposing,
Time==(400×100)/(800×10)
Time = 5Years
