what 'c ' gets + 8 = b

Rs x +Rs 8 = b _______________ eq(2)

what 'b' gets + Rs 8 = a

Rs x + Rs 8 + Rs 7 = a __________eq.(3)

total sum = 53 => a + b + c = 53

x + 8 + 7 + x + 8 + x = 53

3x = 53 - 23 = 30 => x = 30/3 = 10

therefore, c gets = x = Rs 10

b gets =x + 8 = 10 + 8 = Rs 18

a gets = x + 8 + 7 = 10 + 8 + 7 = Rs 25

ratio of their shares=a : b : c=25 : 18 : 10

Let the amount that A got be x

The amount that B got = x - 7

The amount that C got = x - 7 - 8 = x - 15

Solve x:

The sum is Rs 53

x + (x - 7) + (x - 15) = 53

x + x - 7 + x - 15 = 53

3x - 22 = 53

3x = 75

x = 25

Find the 3 numbers:

A = x = 25

B = x - 7 = 25 - 7 = 18

C = x - 15 = 25 - 15 = 10
