Solution_
__________

Let tom's share be Rs x.

Then, jerry's share = Rs (64 - x)

As per problem, 3x - 4(64 - x) = 10

⇒ 3x - 256 + 4x = 10

⇒ 7x - 256 = 10

⇒ 7x = 10 + 256 (By transposing -256 to RHS)

⇒ x = 266/7 (Dividing both sides by 7)

⇒ x = 38
tom's share = Rs 38
Jerry's share = 64 - 38 = Rs 26

Hence, the shares of Tom and jerry are Rs 38 and Rs 26 respectively.

let the share of tom be x and of Jerry be y
so , 3x - 4y = 10
and x + y = 64

on solving we get
x = 38 and y = 26

hope u like it

and my dp
