more than B and B receives 25% less than C. What is the A share in the amount?

Let the amount given to C be = x
Amount given to B = 25% - X
= 25/100 = 1/4 - X
Amount given to A = 25% + 1/4 - X =
= 25/100 + 1/4 - X = 1/4 + 1/4 - X
= 2/4 - X
According to the question,
X + 1/4 - X + 2/4 - X = 817
X - X - X + 1/4 + 2/4 = 817
-X + 3/4 = 817
-X = 817 × 4/3 = -1089.4
value of C = -1089.4, value of B = 1/4 - X = 1/4 - (-1089.4) = 1089.65 value of A = 2/4 - X = 2/4 - (-1089.4) = 1089.09
