Question:-

  • To find the amount if the rate gets increased by 2%.

Answer:-

  • 461.92

Solution for Correct answer:

Principal = Rs.400, Amount = Rs.430

Simple Interest = Rs.(430−400)

  • −400)=Rs.30

Time = 4 years

Time = 4 yearsRate in percentage =SI×100/P×T

P×TRate in percentage =30×100/400×4

  • = 3000/1600
  • =1.875 =1.87

New rate of interest

  • New rate of interest= (1.87+2) = 3.87%

%Interest= 400×3.87×4/100

  • =6192/100
  • =61.92

Hence amount = Rs.(400+61.92)

  • )=Rs. 461.92
