Answer: The original number is 52

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the ones place = x

Let the tens place= y

Number = 10y + x

Reversing the number = 10x+y

according to question we have

x+ y= 7 -----(i) \\\\10y+x - (10x+y) = 27\\\\10y+x-10x-y= 27\\\\9y -9x= 27 \\\\ y-x= 3----(ii)

Solving (i) and (ii)

y= 5 and x= 2

Number is 10y+x = 10 x 5 +2 = 52

Hence, the original number is 52
