Let the original number be "x"
and the reversed number be "y"

Given:
      sum of these 2  = 99
     ie.,  x + y = 99     ----------> (A)
       y = 9 + x (given 9 more than original)     --------> (B)

solving these 2 eqns: (A) & (B)
      we get x = 45 and reversing it we get y = 54

Ans: 45 is the original number and 54 is the reversed number

Step-by-step explanation:

late two digit number be 10x + y

by reversing the digit we get 10y + x

therefore by given condition

10x+ y + 10y + x = 99

11x + 11y =99

divide both sides by 11

X + y = 9 eq (1)

by the second condition

10y + x= 10x + y + 9

10y - y + x - 10x=9

-9x + 9y =9

divide both sides by - 9

X - Y = - 1 eq (2)

from adding one and two

X + Y =9

X - Y = - 1

2x = 8

X =4

Put x=4 in (1)

4 + y = 9

Y = 9 - 4

Y = 5

Therefore original number be

10x + y

10 * 4 + 5

= 45
