A sum was put on S.I. at a certain rate for 2 years .Had it been put at 3% higher rate, it would have earned Rs. 510 more. find the sum.

S.I= \frac{p \times r \times t}{100}

so,

510 = p x 3 x 2/100

510= 6p/100

So the original sum (principle) is 76.5 {ans}
