Answer:

Given –

  • Initial position of submarine = 350 metres below sea level.
  • Final position of submarine = 100 metres below sea level.
  • Time taken to ascend = 10 seconds.

To Find –

  • The speed of the submarine.

Solution –

The Total distance travelled by the submarine = 2l350 - 100 = 250 metres.

Total time taken to travel 250 metres, given is, 10 seconds.

Formula used : Speed = Distance/Time.

➸ Speed = 250/10

➸ Speed = 25 metres/second

➸ Speed = 25 m/s

Hence, the speed of the submarine is 25 metres per second.

GIVEN:

  • Initial position of submarine is 350 m below seas level
  • Final position of submarine = Initial position– 100 m below sea level
  • Time taken for ascending is 10 seconds

TO FIND:

  • What is speed of submarine ?

FORMULA USED:

\bf{ Speed = \dfrac{Distance}{Time}}

SOLUTION:

Initial position of submarine before ascending= 350 m

Final position of submarine after ascending = 350–100 = 250 m

We have given that the time taken by the submarine is 10 Seconds

According to question:-

On Putting the values in the formula, we get

\bf{\mapsto Speed = \dfrac{Distance}{Time}}

\rm{\mapsto Speed = \cancel\dfrac{250}{10}}

\bf{\mapsto Speed = 25 m/s }

 ❝ Hence, the speed of submarine is 25 m/s. ❞
