(a) If gravity of sun suddenly becomes zero and If no other celestial body affects it, then the Earth will move tangentially to the elliptical orbit in which it was moving.

(b) Since no other force is acting on it, it will move in a straight line tangentially to the previous orbit. And since it is moving in a straight line and not in a circular path, there will be no centripetal force acting on it.

(c) The weight of a body is maximum at the poles because the gravitational force is maximum at the poles.
