Given : A survey was conducted to determine people's chocolate preferences.

500 people were surveyed,

To Find : how many more people preferred dark chocolate over milk chocolate

A) 115

B) 125

C) 135

D) 150

Solution:

Dark chocolates =  45 %

White chocolates  = 35 %

Milk Chocolates  = 20 %

Total   = 100 %

500 people were surveyed

=> 100 %  = 500

Dark chocolates =  500 * 45 / 100  = 225

White chocolates  = 500 * 35 / 100  = 175

Milk Chocolates  = 500 * 20 / 100  =  100

Total   = 500

Dark chocolates =   225

Milk Chocolates  = 100

people preferred dark chocolate over milk chocolate = 225 - 100 = 125
