{\large{\underline{\underline{\bold{\orange{Solution}}}}}}:-

In a survey in a small area -

\: \: \: \: \: \: \rm{number \: \: of \: \: men \: \: voters \: \: = \: \: \sqrt{9 + 2x} - \sqrt{2x}}

\rm{number \: \: of \: \: women \: \: voters \: \: = \: \: \dfrac{5}{\sqrt{9 + 2x}}}

as per question -

\: \: \: \: \: \rm{\pink{no. \: of \: men \: voters \: \: \: = \: \: \: no. \: of \: women \: voters}}

So -

\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \rm{\sqrt{9+2x} - \sqrt{2x} \: \: \: = \: \: \: \dfrac{5}{\sqrt{9 + 2x}}}

\rm{\sqrt{9 + 2x} - \dfrac{5}{\sqrt{9 + 2x}} \: \: \: = \: \: \: \sqrt{2x}}

\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \:  \rm{\dfrac{(9 + 2x - 5)}{\sqrt{9 + 2x}} \: \: \: = \: \: \: \sqrt{2x}}

 \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \rm{\dfrac{4 + 2x}{\sqrt{9 + 2x}} \: \: \: = \: \: \: \sqrt{2x}}

\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \rm{(4 + 2x) \: \: \: = \: \: \: \sqrt{2x} \: \sqrt{9 + 2x}}

\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \rm{(4 + 2x) \: \: \: = \: \: \: \sqrt{2x(9 + 2x)}}

doing square in both sides

\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \rm{(4 + 2x)^{2} \: \: \: = \: \: \: 2x(9 + 2x)}

\rm{(4)^{2} + (2x)^{2} + 2(4)(2x) \: \: = \: \: 2x(2x + 9)}

\: \rm{16 + \cancel{4x²} + 16x \: \: \: = \: \: \: \cancel{4x^{2}} + 18x}

\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \rm{16 + 16x \: \: \: = \: \: \: 18x}

\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \rm{18x \: \: \: = \: \: \: 16x + 16}

\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \rm{2x \: \: \: = \: \: \: 16}

\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \rm{\underline{\boxed{\purple{x \: \: \: = \: \: \: 8}}}}
