                            Sushi :

Sushi is a food dish, originated from Southeast Asian food narezushi. This is made of white rice with added Vinegar. Usually various seafoods such as eel, salmon, tuna are also used.

In Muromachi period, vinegar was being started to add in narezushi. In Edo period, fresh fish was served over sushi and nori. However after a few transformations, Sushi became quite popular as a Japanese food supplying much protein.

In Japan, traditionally sushi is wrapped in edible seaweed. It is called Makizushi or Maki Sushi. Though we can find variety in wrapping of sushi as some wraps it with a thin omelette.
