A sweetseller has 96 kaju barfis and 404 badam barfis. She wants to stack them in such a way that each stack has the same number, and they take up the least area of the tray. What is the maximum number of barfis that can be placed in each stack for this purpose?

Answer:

22

Step-by-step explanation:

Add the no. of sweets (96+404=500)

Take the no. of rows/ stack as x

Take the no. of sweets in a row as x

x*x= 500 ( take the square root of 500)

= 22 (approx)

although 14 sweets will be left in this arrangement
