Given length of swimming pool =20m

Breadth of swimming pool =15m

Height of swimming pool =4m

Curved surface area of cuboid =2(l+b)h

=2[20+15]×4

=2×35×4

CSA of cuboid (pool)=280m

If cost of painting is =20 Rs/sq. m

then cost of painting four walls of pool =20×280

Cost =5600Rs.

Hence cost of painting four walls of swimming pool is Rs. 5600.

  • Length = 15m
  • Breadth = 10m
  • Depth = 4m

Note:-

Surface area = 2h(l + b) + l×b

Solution:-

Surface area = 2 × 4(15+10) + 15 × 10

Surface area = 350m²

Finding the cost of cementing it:

=> 350 × 45

=> 15,750 (Ans)
