Total area for cementing = CSA + Base area

= 2h(l+b) + l×b

= 2×2( 15+ 12) + 15×12

= 4(27) + 180

= 108+180

= 288 m^2

Cost of cementing = 15/Sq m

Cost of cementing area of 288 m^2 = 15×288

= 4320

Answer:

4320 rupees

Step-by-step explanation:

length = 15m

breadth = 12m

height (depth) = 2m

first find the area of the floor that is

area of a rectangle = Length x Breadth

                             = 15 x 12 = 180 sq.meter

now ,for the area of the walls-

since the pool is basically a cuboid there r two dimensions that is - L x H and

B x H , that is

=2 H ( L + B )

= 2×2(15+12)

=4×27=108 sq.m  therefore total area = 108 + 180 = 288 sq.m

Cost of cementing =Rs.15 per square meter

Therefore,

Cost of cementing the floor and wall of pool =15×288=Rs.4320
