as we have to cement floor and 4 walls
area to be cemented=area of floor×area of four walls
=20×14+2×3×14+2×3×20
=484m^2 =x
cost we need to pay= x ×15 RS=RS 7260

hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

given the Length of the swimming pool = 20m

breadth of the swimming pool = 14m

height ( depth ) of the swimming pool = 3m

ATQ,

we have to find the cost of cementing it's floor and walls.

so we will use CSA + 1 base formula.

CSA+1 base of the swimming pool = 2h(l+b) + lb

= 2 × 3 ( 20 + 14 ) + ( 20 × 14 )

= 6 × 34 + 280

= 204 + 280

= 484m²

total cost of cementing at the rate of ₹15 per m² = 484 × 15

= ₹7260

hope this helps..!!
