AnswEr:

We have ,

  • L = length of the swimming pool = 20 m

  • B = breadth of the swimming pool = 15 m

  • H = height of the swimming pool = 4m

_____________

\therefore \sf{Area\:of\:four\:walls\:of\:swimming\:pool}

\Rightarrow \sf{2\times\:4\times(20+15)m^2}

\Rightarrow \sf{8\times\:35\:m^2=280\:m^2}

â—• Area of the floor of the swimming pool = \sf{l\times\:b}

\Rightarrow \sf{20\times\:15\:m^2}

\Rightarrow \sf\blue{300\:m^2}

_______________________________

\therefore Total area to be cemented

\Rightarrow \sf{(280+300)m^2}

\Rightarrow \sf\red{580\:m^2}

⌣ Cost of cementing of 1 sq m = Rs 12.

_______________________________

\therefore Cost of cementing the floor and the walls

\Rightarrow \sf{Rs(12\times\:580)}

\Rightarrow \sf\purple{Rs\:6960}
