A swimming pool is 20 metre long 15 metre wide and 8 metre deep. Find cost of

cementing its floor and four walls at the rate of rupees 30 per square metre​

Given length of swimming pool =20m

Breadth of swimming pool =15m

Height of swimming pool =4m

Curved surface area of cuboid =2(l+b)h

=2[20+15]×4

=2×35×4

CSA of cuboid (pool)=280m2

If cost of painting is =20 Rs/sq. m

then cost of painting four walls of pool =20×280

Cost =5600Rs.

Hence cost of painting four walls of swimming pool is Rs. 5600.
