hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

given the Length of the swimming pool = 20m

breadth of the swimming pool = 15m

height (depth) of the swimming pool = 4m

ATQ,

we have to find the cost of cementing the floor and walls, so we will use CSA+1base formula.

CSA + 1 base of the swimming pool = 2h(l+b) +lb

= 2 × 4 ( 20 + 15 ) + ( 20 × 15 )

= ( 8 × 35 ) + 300

= 280 + 300

= 580m²

total cost of cementing at the rate of ₹12 per m² = 12 × 580

= ₹6,960

hope this helps u..!!

Hi there !!

Dimensions of the pool

Length = 20m
Breadth = 15m
Height = 4m

It is given that the floor and the walls are to be cemented

Area of walls = Lateral surface area = 2h(l +b)

Area of Floor = Length × breadth

So,

Area in this case

= 2h( l + b) + lb

= 2 × 4 ( 20 + 15 ) + 20 × 15 m

= 2× 140 +300 m

= 580m²

Cost per m² = Rs 12

Cost for 580m² = 580 × 12 = Rs 6960

Thus,

The cost is Rs 6960
