a swimming pool is 20m long 15m wide and 3m deep. what will be the cost of repairing the floor and wall of the pool at the rate of rs. 25 per square metre?

lateral surface area of pool = 2(20+15)×3
= 210m^2

area of floor = 2(20+15)=70m^2

cost of repairing the floor and walls = 25(210+70)
=rupees 7000

Breadth of the pool = 15m

Height of the pool = 3m

Surface Area of the pool = 2(lb+bh+hl)

= 2 ( 20*15+15*3+3*20)

= 810m^2

Surface area except the top = 810 - (20*15)

= 810- 300

= 510m^2

Cost of reparing the walls and floor of the pool
in 1m^2 = Rs 25

Cost of repairing the walls and floor of the pool in 510m^2= Rs 25*510

= Rs 12750
