Given

------------

→ Length of swimming pool = 21m

→ Width of swimming pool = 14 m

→ Depth of swimming pool = 6 m

To find

---------------

→ Area of walls and surface of swimming pool as swimming pool has no ceiling it is open from it's top .

Solution

-----------------

→ Area of rectangular shape = l × b

→ Area of cuboid shape. = 2(lb+bh+hl)

So, finding total surface area of cuboid.that is -

→ 2(21×14+14×6+6×21)

Calculation

2( 294 + 84 + 126 )

2( 504 )

1008 m²

Area of surface = l× b

21 ×14 = 294 m²

Required area = t.s.a - area of surface.

Required area = 714 m²
