Given :-

  • Length of the swimming pool = 21 m
  • Breadth of the swimming pool = 14 m
  • Height of the swimming pool = 6 m

To find :-

  • Sum of area of the four walls and it's floor

Knowledge required :-

→ Formula to calculate area of cuboid :-

Area of cuboid = 2(lb + bh + hl)

where,

  • l = length of the cuboid
  • b = breadth of the cuboid
  • h = height of the cuboid

Solution :-

⠀⠀⠀⇒ Area = 2(lb + bh + hl)

⠀⠀⠀⇒ Area = 2(21 × 14 + 14 × 6 + 6 × 21)

⠀⠀⠀⇒ Area = 2(294 + 84 + 126)

⠀⠀⠀⇒ Area = 2(504)

⠀⠀⠀⇒ Area = 1008

Sum of area of the four walls and it's floor = 1008 m²

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Know MorE :-

  • Volume of cuboid =  length × breadth × height
  • Perimeter of cuboid = 4 (length + breadth + height)
  • Total surface area of cube = 6 × side²
  • Volume of cube = side³
  • Perimeter of cube = 12 × side

★ Given :

  • Length of pool = 21m
  • Breadth of pool = 14m
  • Height of pool = 6m

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ

★ To find :

  • Total surface area of pool.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ

★Solution :

T.S.A of cuboid = 2 (lb + bh + hl)

➯ T.S.A of pool = 2 [( 21 × 14 ) + (14×6) + (6×21)]

➯ T.S.A = 2 { 294 + 84 + 126 }

➯ T.S.A = 2 {504}

➯ T.S.A = 1008 m²

Therefore, Total surface area of pool = 1008

Lateral surface area of cuboid = 2(l + b)h

Volume of cuboid = l × b × h

T.S.A of cube = 6(side)²

Lateral surface area of cube = 4 (side)²

Volume of cube = side³

Area of recatangle = l × b

Area of square = side ²

area of triangle = ½ × base × height

perimeter of triangle = sum of all sides
