The walls = Lateral surface area = 2h(l+b)
area of the floor = lb
area to be cemented= 2h(l + b ) + lb
Surface area = 2h(l + b ) + lb
= 2 × 5 ( 25 + 20 ) + 25 × 20 m
= 2 × 5( 45) + 500
= 950 m²
Cost per m² = Rs 36
cost for 950 m² = 950 × 36 = Rs 34200
