For swimming pool
L=25m
B=20m
H=2m
So,Lateral surface area(or area of four wall)=2(l+b)×h
2(25+20)×2m^2
2×45×2m^2
180m^2
And area of floor=25×20=500m^2
So,total area=180+500=680m^2
Cost=Rs.680×20=Rs.13600

the cost of cementing its floor and four walls at rate of Rs 20per m2 is 13600

• Given the length, breadth, the height of swimming pool:-

Length =25m

Breadth=20m

Height =2m

• So, Lateral surface area L.S.A

( the area of four walls will be equals to ) = 2(l+b)×h

= 2(25+20)×2m^2

= 2×45×2m^2

= 180m^2

• And the area of floor( rectangular shaped ) = l*b

= 25×20

= 500m^2

• Therefore total area of the swimming pool will be equals to =180+500

=680m^2

• Cost=

Rs.680×20=

Rs.13600
