A swimming pool is 30m long and 15m wide. How many kilolitres of
water must be pumped into it so as to raise the level of water by 4m?
(1000cm = 1 litre)

Breadth=15m

Height=4m

liters of water=30×15×4=1800L

(volume of cuboid)

1800L=1.8kL

(:1kL=1000L)

1.8 kiloliters of water must be pumped into the tank to raise the water level to 4m.
