A swimming pool is to be made with the walls having blue tiles and the floor having white tiles. The breadth, length and the depth of the pool are 4m , 8m and 2m respectively. Find the number of blue and white tiles required if they cover a surface area of 1.5 sq. m. and 2 sq. m respectively

Answer:

LSA OF THE POOL=2(L+B)

2×(8+4) 2

2(12)2

=48m square

no of blue tiles required=48/1.5

. =32 tiles

area of the floor=4×8

=32

no of white tiles required=32/2

=16 tiles are required
