a swimming pool of with 9.0m ,length 24.0 is filled with water to depth of 3.0m . calculate pressure on the bottom of the pool due to water .

Pressure =pgh= (1,000kg x g x 3m) = 29,400Pa., or 29.4kPa. (9.8 used for g).

FORCE on bottom = 29.4 x (9 x 24) = 6,350.4kN, or 6.3504 MN.
