Given :

  • No. of Oscillation (n) = 200
  • Time taken (t) = 10s

To Find :

  • Frequency and Time period

Formula Used :

\bullet\underline{\boxed{\sf Time \: Period (T)=\dfrac{Time \: Taken (t)}{No. \: of \: Oscillation}}}

\bullet\underline{\boxed{\sf Frequency (f)=\dfrac{1}{T}}}

Solution :

Time period - Is defined as time taken by body to complete one Oscillation

\implies{\sf  T = \dfrac{10}{200}}

\implies{\sf T = \dfrac{1}{20}\: s}

\implies{\bf T = 0.05 \: s}

Frequency -

\implies{\sf f =\dfrac{1}{T}}

\implies{\bf  f =20\: Hz}

Answer :

Frequency of swing is 20Hz

Time period of swing is 0.05s
