A table coaster in the shape of a rhombus has

Given:-

To find:-
- Length of each side of coaster.
Solution:-
Let ABCD be the table coaster.
=> The diagonals bisect at O.
❥︎ The diagonals of rhombus intersect each other at right angles.
Therefore,
→ AO = 1/2 × AC
⇒ 1/2 × 10 = 5cm.
→ BO = 1/2 × BD
⇒ 1/2 × 24 = 12 cm.
By pythagoras theorem :
From ΔAOB ,
⇒ AB² = AO²+BO²
⇒ AB² = 5² + 12² = 25 +144 = 169.
⇒ AB = √169
⇒ AB = 13 cm.
Hence, length of each side of coaster is 13cm.
