T=Tables C=Chairs
T=C+200
2T+3C=1400
2(C+200)+ 3(200)=1400
2C+400+600=1400
2C=400
C=200
T=C+200 T=200+200
T=400
Chairs=200 Tables= 400
T=C+200
2T+3C=1400
2(C+200)+ 3(200)=1400
2C+400+600=1400

Hi ,
Let the cost one chair = Rs x
cost of one table = Rs ( x + 200 )
cost of 2 tables and 3 chairs = Rs 1400
2( x + 200 ) + 3x = 1400
2x + 400 + 3x = 1400
5x = 1400 - 400
5x = 1000
x = 1000 / 5
x = 200
Therefore ,
cost of one chair = x = Rs 200
cost of one table = x + 200
= 200 + 200
= Rs 400
I hope this helps you.
