Let the cost of one chair be ₹x
So the cost of one table will be ₹x + 200 (as it's mentioned)
The cost of 3 chairs n 2 tables is ₹1400
So, 3x + 2(x+200)=1400
3x+2x+400=1400
5x+400=1400
5x=1400-400=1000
x=1000/5=200
Therefore, cost of the chair is 200 Rs.
And, cost of the table is 200+200=400 Rs.

Let the chair cost =x
the table cost =200+x
According to the question the cost of two table s and three chairs =200+x+200+x+x+x+x=1400
=400+5x=1400
=5x=1400-400
=5x=1000
=x=1000/5
=x=200
The cost of chair =x=200
The cost of table =200+x=200+200=400
