hanging all around the table .
Dimensions of the table top,
Length = l = 4m - 2 × w
l = 4m - 2×0.25
l = 4m - 0.5 m
l = 3.5 m
Breadth = b = 2m - 2 × w
b = 2m - 2 × 0.25
b = 2 m - 0.5m
b = 1.5 m
Area of the table top = l × b
= 3.5 m × 1.5 m
= 5.25 m^2
According to the problem given,
Cost of polishinh the table top at rupees 25 per
squate meter.
Total cost of polishing the table top = 25 × 5.25
= Rs131.25
