Total revolution before stopping= area of oABC +area of∆BCD

So area of trapezium=1/2(sum of || side × height)

=1/2(2400+600)×8/60

=1/2×3000×8/60

=200revolutions

Area of∆=1/2 ×b×h

=1/2×600×16/60

=80 revolution

Total revolution=200+80=280

Hence proved
