Let the CP be ₹x.
Then according to the given condition, we have
SP = ₹3360
Loss = 16%
Therefore to find CP,
x × (1 - 16/100) = 3360
x × (0.84) = 3360
or x = 3360/0.84
Therefore, x = ₹4000/-

Hence, the cost price of the table is ₹4000/-
