To Find :-

Solution :-

In the question, we are given with the number is squares, and they all are of size 3cm, and we need to find the area of the square, for that, we will, use the formula of area of square, and then, we will multiply it with 24, that will give us the area of the tabletop. Let's do it!

So-

Area of a square = Side × Side

Where,

A = Area

S = Side = 3cm

On substituting the values -

\longrightarrow Area = 3 × 3

\longrightarrow Area = 9 cm

According to the question,

Area of 24 squares would be -

Area obtained × no; of squares given -

\longrightarrow 24 × 9

\longrightarrow Area = 216 cm²

\therefore The area of the tabletop is 216 cm².
