A takes 6 days more than those of B to complete a certain work. If they work together they finish it in 4 days . How many days would it take to complete the work if the work alone ?

total work= l.c.m of 6,4= 24
a=6(4)
a+b=4(6)
then efficiency of a=4 ,b=2
A ,complete work= 24/4=6 days
B , complete work=24/2=12 days
